The Freedom Village Brandywine Scholarship Fund

The Freedom Village Brandywine Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a non-profit corporation formed in 2004 by FVB residents. Its purpose is to provide qualified, deserving FVB employees who desire a higher education, with a monetary scholarship award to assist them as they work to achieve their educational goals.

During the active months of our yearly campaign, January 15 through March 31, the Scholarship page on this website provides employees who wish to apply for a scholarship with all the information and forms they need to complete their application. Applications must be complete by March 31.

After reviewing applications and interviewing candidates, scholarships are awarded in the spring of each fiscal year. Payments go directly to the school of the applicant's choice, and can be spread out over the academic year if the student desires.

Freedom Village residents understand and value the importance of education and remain committed to providing employees with scholarships.
